The immense popular stalks print is back in new colors! Next to that, it is now made with 100% ECOVERO™ Viscose yarn. The fabric is soft and has a muted colored background with a small stalks print on a dye basis. This means the prints are made on dyed fabric, so the base color is on both the front and backside (not like digital print, where the backside is white). The size of the print and the color combinations make it the perfect fabric for everyday wear but can easily be used for more dressy garments.
It’s soft to the touch, and as with all ECOVERO™ viscose fabrics from mind the MAKER, it has a beautiful drape. Excellent for creating loose trousers, blouses, tops, and all sorts of skirts and dresses.
Because of the natural fibers from the wood used to create this ECOVERO™ Viscose is very breathable and comfortable to wear. The fibers do not get static, they maintain their soft texture, and they keep the colors very well. The ECOVERO™ fibers are produced and certified by Austria-based Lenzing, which is behind the production and certification of the sustainable TENCEL™ fiber.
ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers are sustainably certified viscose fibers. Compared to traditional viscose fabric, manufacturing ECOVERO viscose only requires half the water, and also the CO2 emission and use of fossil resources are cut in half. It's made of pulp from wood that derives only from certified and controlled wood sources.

You can order samples through the shop by selecting ‘Buy a sample’ of the product and color you prefer. A sample costs €0,50. Samples are small pieces of fabric (a few cm2) to help you decide on the perfect fabric for your next sewing project. From these small pieces, you can determine the color, type of weave/knit, and feel of the fabric. The samples are sent in an envelope through regular mail (PostNL). You will not be able to track the envelope. Samples are shipped within 1-2 workdays.
Shipping in NL is free of charge. At checkout please choose the free shipping option ‘Only Samples’. If you want to have the samples shipped to Belgium or Germany shipping costs are €2,-. It is possible to order samples and have them shipped to other countries. In this case, the default shipping rate of a package is calculated at check-out.
Products that are excluded from the sample service: deadstock fabrics (as they are limited edition), sewing patterns, sewing magazines, and sewing thread.
