THE FABRIC
This linen fabric is softened with a method called 'Mill Wash', Which is the most sustainable way to soften linen since there is no use of chemicals, enzymes, or a huge amount of water consumption in the softening process.
It has a perfect medium weight for all kinds of garments as well as different accessories. Wash before you sew, because although it has been washed already it can still shrink 3-5% in length and 2-3% in width. With every wash, this fabric will get softer.
The flax/linen fibers have the European Flax certificate, which means that they come from flax production in northern France, Belgium, or the Netherlands, where flax grows under optimal conditions, completely natural and environmentally responsible. Next to that, it’s OEKO-TEX 100 certified.
Mind the MAKER is a fabric manufacturer founded in 2018 by fabric lovers on a mission to serve high-quality fabrics with the maker in mind. They keep the maker in mind when they design and develop their collections, hence the name. They do a range of great high-quality basic fabrics as well as a range of prints, such as this classic dot. Fashionable collections are more likely to come and go.

OEKO-TEX
This fabric is certified as STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX and is proven to be skin-friendly in various classes, including products for infants, products with direct skin contact, and decoration material.
OEKO-TEX is a test and certifying system for textile that focuses on restricting the use of harmful substances in textile manufacturing. The demands are very strict and are monitored regularly. A certificate has to be renewed every year.

FABRIC FAQ
All fabrics are sold in 10 cm increments, with a minimum length of 50 cm. The fabric will be cut in 1 length. If this is not possible we will always contact you via e-mail to discuss the options.
Due to the vast color variances in every monitor and mobile device, we cannot guarantee the color will be an exact match to what you see online. But we try to reflect and photograph the fabrics as true to reality as possible.
