Do I have to pre-wash my fabric before using it?
In the details of every product in our shop, you will find care instructions. These come directly from the manufacturer and should be followed. If you plan to stray from the care instructions, it would be wise to wash and dry a test swatch to avoid any tragedies. This also applies to ironing: testing it first on a small piece can be a smart thing to do.
Can I add to my order after placing it?
Of course! If you’ve already put in an order, but decide to add another piece of fabric to it, you can create a new order. At the checkout, you have the opportunity to leave a note. To make sure we don’t dispatch your first order, please also send us an e-mail as soon as possible, so that we can make sure to combine the orders. [email protected] We will issue a refund for the extra postage fee, making sure you don’t pay double.
I’m not sure what fabric to choose for my project. Can you help me?
In the description of our fabrics, we include a description of the characteristics of the fabric. The weight, texture, and drape are addressed here. To help you, even more, we’ve included some ideas for patterns. Next to that, you can visit our Pinterest account where you can find a lot of ideas for your fabric of choice or the pattern that you want to make with it. My favorite fabric is sold out. Will it be restocked?
Fast-selling seasonal favorites and basics will most of the time be restocked. Depending on the availability of course. If you have a specific request or you want to order a certain fabric in a certain color, please send us an e-mail at [email protected]. We will try our best to accommodate you!
What’s the maximum length cut in 1 piece I can order?
We cut all our fabrics in continuous lengths. In case you are going to work on a garment or DIY project that needs long lengths of fabric in one piece, please keep in mind we can’t always guarantee the fabrics to be cut in 1 continuous length. When ordering over 4 meters of fabric, and you would like to have it cut in 1 length, please send us an e-mail at [email protected] so that we can make sure you receive what you are expecting to receive. We will contact you in case there is an issue with the request and make sure we find a suitable solution!
I live in Eindhoven, can I pick up my package?
Yes that is definitely possible! If you want to be in and out, this is a great solution. When checking out you can select the option ‘Pick-up in Eindhoven’. No shipping costs will be calculated. After placing your order we will reach out (mostly the same day, latest the day after) to arrange date and time for the pick-up. If you need your fabrics quickly, you can send us an e-mail at [email protected]. And we’ll make sure to accomodate you.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes we do! If you order over 60€ shipping in the Netherlands is free. If you live in Belgium or Germany shipping is free when ordering over 90€.
Can I come and visit your shop to feel and see the fabrics?
Yes you can! Our shop is located at Geldropseweg 84a in Eindhoven. We are open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00-17:00 and on Saturday from 10:00-14:00.
If you are not located in the Eindhoven area, or if you can’t come to the store, we offer a free swatch service (Deadstock designer fabrics excluded). You can request up to maximum 6 samples for free. Send your wishlist and address to [email protected]. And we’ll send you the samples within 1-2 workdays.
