Nice to meet you!

I’m so happy you are here! My name is Linda Meuwissen and I am the founder of EFF: Eco Fashion Fabrics. I am a hobby seamstress, fashion and fabric lover, entrepreneur and happy Dutchie living together with my husband in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. 

When I was just a little girl my mom taught me how to sew. I started out making pin cushions (one of them my mom still uses!) but ended up later in life making clothes. I love being creative and to play around with different fabrics, colors, textures, and patterns. Making the garment I have in mind, just the way I want it, in that specific print or color, fitted to my body. In short: sewing is my happy place. It gives me freedom and I can develop my signature style. Which you will also see reflected in our collection in the shop.

I always had the urge to have a business of my own. But until now I didn’t find the one thing that makes my heart beat just a little bit faster. Surrounding myself with beautiful high-quality fabrics, putting sustainability in the center of it all gives me a great feeling of satisfaction. Doing what I love and doing so by taking into account the environment is, in my opinion, a win-win situation. You can read more about our origin in the section 'Who we are'. 

I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge about sustainable fabrics, give you tips and tricks on how to sew more sustainably and to keep on finding new fabrics to add to the collection.
